Police posts lying vacant across India

NEW DELHI: A whopping five lakh police posts of the sanctioned strength of 22.63 lakh are lying vacant across the country.
According to Home Ministry statistics, there are 22,63,222 sanctioned posts in police forces of all states in the country, of which 17,61,200 are occupied while 5,02,022 posts are lying vacant.
The highest 1.80 lakh posts are lying vacant in Uttar Pradesh where the sanctioned strength of police force is 3,64,200 personnel.
In West Bengal, which has a total strength of 1,11,176 sanctioned posts, around 35,000 posts are lying vacant.
There are 1,12,554 sanctioned posts in Bihar Police, of which around 30,300 are lying vacant.

In Karnataka, out of the sanctioned strength of 1,07,053 posts in its police force, around 25,500 are lying vacant.
In Gujarat, which has a sanctioned strength of 99,423 posts in its police force, around 17,200 are lying vacant.
Similarly, In Tamil Nadu, which has a sanctioned strength of 1,35,830 posts in its police force, around 16,700 are vacant.
Jharkhand has a sanctioned strength of 73,713 posts in its police force, of which 15,400 are lying vacant.
Chhattisgarh, which has a sanctioned strength of 68,099 posts, more than 8,500 posts are lying vacant.
Meanwhile, according to a report of the Bureau of Police Research and Development, there are 188 police stations in the country which have no vehicle, 402 police stations have no telephone connections, 134 police stations don't have wireless sets and 65 have neither a telephone nor a wireless set.
There are a total of 15,555 police stations in the country, of which 10,014 are in rural areas and the rest are in urban areas.
There are only 10.13 vehicles for 100 policemen at the national level with 1,75,358 vehicles in all available for law enforcement.
Insurgency-hit Manipur has the highest number of police stations with inadequate facilities in remote areas and in case of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, most police stations are located in Maoist-hit areas where arms, wireless sets and vehicles are often snatched by the Left-wing extremists.

Barkha Dutt quits NDTV after 21 years, likely to start own venture

Senior journalist Barkha Dutt has resigned as Consulting Editor of NDTV. According to reports, she is likely to start her own venture. In an official statement issued, NDTV appreciated her long-time association with the channel and wished her all the best for her future.
Dutt rose to prominence in journalism for her fearless coverage of Kargil war in 1999. She later became the face of NDTV’s programme We The People. She has won many national and international awards, including the Padma Shri, India’s fourth highest civilian honour. However, her stint with NDTV was also marred by controversy as she figured in the controversial Radia tapes.
She was also criticised for her coverage of 26/11 attacks when she reported from  Taj Mahal Hotel and Oberoi Trident. She was blamed for putting lives at risk and causing deaths by identifying on live television where the hotel guests might be located.

శని ఉప్పు.... కుజుడు నిప్పు...
జ్యోతిష్యం హిందూధర్మం మాత్రానికే అని ఎవరన్నారు? అది ప్రపంచమంతా ఉంది. అరేబియన్లు, గ్రీకులు, చైనీయులు అందరూ నమ్ముతారు. అక్కడ కూడా జాతకాల మీద పరిశోధనలు విస్తృతంగా జరిగాయి. యజమాని ఒక ఉద్యోగిని తీసుకునేటప్పుడు ఆ ఉద్యోగి తనకు అనుకూలుడో కాదో అని తెలుసుకోవడానికి కూడా జాతకం చూస్తారు. ఒక స్నేహితుడు మనకు తగినవాడా కాదా, ఒక ఊరు మనం నివసించడానికి యోగ్యమా కాదా అని చూస్తారు. కొడుకు జన్మించినప్పుడు వాడు శత్రువు అవుతాడా, మిత్రుడిలా ఉంటాడా అనే విషయం కూడా జ్యోతిష్యశాస్త్రం చెబుతుంది. నక్షత్రాలకు రాసులకు స్వభావం ఉంది. ఏ నక్షత్రానికి, ఏ నక్షత్రం సరిపడుతుందో చూసుకోవాలి. ఏ రాశిలో పుట్టినవారికి ఏ రాశివారితో సరిపోలుతుందో చూసుకోవాలి. శని ఉప్పులాంటివాడు. కుజుడు నిప్పు లాంటివాడు. ఉప్పు నిప్పు కలిస్తే మంట పెరుగుతుంది. గురువు చంద్రుడు ఒకచోట చేరితే సంతోషం, ఆనందం ఉంటాయి. కొన్ని నక్షత్రాలకు కొన్ని నక్షత్రాలే కలుస్తాయి. అగ్నితత్త్వం వారికి జల తత్త్వం వారితో పొంతన కుదరదు. ఒకరు ఊసురోమంటూ ఉంటే ఒకరు ఎగిరెగిరిపడుతుంటారు. మ్యాచింగ్‌లో ఇవన్నీ చూస్తాం. కనుక ఒక జంటకు వివాహం చేసేటప్పుడు ఆ ఇద్దరూ కలిసి జీవించగలిగే లక్షణాలు ఎంతవరకు ఉన్నాయో చూడాలి.   - భీమా సాంబశివరావు, జ్యోతిష పండితులు
కుజదోషం వల్ల ఇబ్బంది ఉంటుంది....

జీవి పుట్టుక ఏది?
జాతకాలన్నీ పుట్టిన తేదీ, సమయం ఆధారంగా రూపొందుతాయి. అయితే జీవి ఆవిర్భావం ఎప్పుడు? తల్లి గర్భంలో అండం- శుక్రకణాలు ఫలదీకరణ చెందినప్పుడే మనిషి జీవం మొదలవుతుంది. అదే అసలైన పుట్టుక. తల్లి గర్భం నుంచి బయటపడడం అనేది కొనసాగింపు మాత్రమే. జీవం ఎప్పుడు మొదలైందనేది రెండు-మూడు రోజుల తేడాలో ఒక అంచనాకు రావచ్చు. కానీ కచ్చితమైన సమయాన్ని చెప్పలేం. అలాంటప్పుడు జాతకాలు రాయడానికి ఏది ఆధారం? ఇప్పుడు ఎక్కువ డెలివరీలు సిజేరియన్‌లే. అది కూడా ముహూర్తం పెట్టుకుని మరీ సిజేరియన్‌లు చేయించుకుంటున్నారు. అలా పుట్టిన బిడ్డ జాతకం కచ్చితంగా బాగుండి తీరాలి కదా! అలాగే జరుగుతోందా? నవగ్రహాల ఆధారంగా జాతకాన్ని నిర్ణయిస్తారు. మరి సూర్యుడు గ్రహం కాదు, చంద్రుడు ఉపగ్రహం, రాహుకేతువులు నీడలు. నాలుగు పోగా మిగిలినవి ఎన్ని? మరి నవగ్రహాలనే మాటకు తావెక్కడ? అయితే ఎవరి విశ్వాసాలు వారివి. ఎవరి మనోభావాలనూ గాయ పరచకూడదు. మన రాజ్యాంగం కూడా నమ్మకాలను ఆమోదిస్తోంది. నేను చెప్పే మరో విషయం  ఏమిటంటే... పెళ్లి చేసుకునే అబ్బాయి తన జాతకం మంచిదనే నమ్మకంతో ఉండడం తప్పుకాదు. అలాగే తనకు ఇష్టమైన అమ్మాయిని జాతకం కలవలేదని నిరాకరించవద్దు. జాతకం కలిసిందని ఇష్టం లేని అమ్మాయిని చేసుకోవద్దు. అన్ని రోజులు దేవుడు సృష్టించినవే అయినప్పుడు కొన్ని  మంచివి, కొన్ని  చెడ్డవి ఎందుకుంటాయి? అన్నీ మంచిరోజులే.  - డాక్టర్ బ్రహ్మారెడ్డి, జనవిజ్ఞానవేదిక స్థాపకులు

HOW THE CURRENCY VALUE CHANGES?
Please go through the below simple Economics,  which will give a good idea on why Taxes are more important not only for Government but also how beneficial to its  citizens, indirectly!
A Government should invariably need GOLD to run the country for their day to day business!   Since the Gold cannot be pumped into market, it chose to use the Notes/Currency  instead!
And printing  the notes/currency  is done under the watchful eye of the IMF ( International Monitory Fund).  A Govt. cannot print notes left & right! It has to be approved by IMF, however it can print any denomination of notes but it should be equivalent to the total weight of the  Gold,  the Government owns.
Let us compare two countries! I have taken America and India because we always compare our country with America! 
For calculation purpose let us assume that , Government of America holds  1 Ton of Gold and Government India   holds  same 1 Ton of Gold
And now:
America printed $ 1 dollar notes of  1000 nos which is  worth $1000.  So,  1 gram of gold is equivalent to 1 Dollar  (1000 grams=1000 notes)
India  Printed  ₹ 1  notes of 1000 nos  which is worth ₹ 1000. So here 1 gram of gold is equivalent to 1 Rupee ( 1000 grams=1000 notes)
Now the value of  Dollar and Rupee are same, i.e. $1 equivalent to Rs.1
Now,  American government releases $1000 notes into the market and sets 20% as tax for each transaction.  And   it  receives back $ 200  in the form of taxes.   Now,  the American Government, with that $200,  buy more 200 grams of Gold with that money and release another $200 worth of notes in the market. So now the American Government  hold 1 Ton and 200 Gms of Gold and American Market has  $1200 worth of notes.  And still 1 Gram of Gold is $1.   And this will keep on going  and the 1 Gram of Gold is $1 always as long as Government receives 100 % tax amount in return as it buys gold for the worth of tax received and printing more notes equivalent to the gold and releasing in the market!!
Now in India,  the   Indian Government too releases  ₹ 1000 in the market and sets  20% as tax.  But it  only receive back  ₹ 50 in the form of taxes!!  Which means only ₹ 250 of the released amount  were transacted officially!    Because balance   of tax  for ₹ 750 is till rotating in the hands of unwanted elements in the market, who does not want to pay tax!  This amount is “unaccounted money” which is called ‘black money’.  Though this ₹ 750 still in the market,  it is not accounted in the books  of government officially.   So,  the money in the market is only Rs. 250 as per government records!  Whereas ₹ 750 is also being used in the market! This is called parallel economy!!   At the same time  the government now can only buy 50 Gms of gold from the tax amount it received.  So the Govt buys that 50 Gms gold and release ₹ 50 worth of notes into the market. Now the money in market is ₹ 300 (₹ 250 + ₹ 50) only officially,  whereas it is supposed to be ₹ 1050.  At the same time the Govt. has to meet  the demand for more notes, because those ₹ 750 has gone into unaccounted!   So the government then decided to print more ₹ 750 notes  and to release them in the market. Here comes the IMF which does NOT allow this !!   It asks the government to reduce the value of the rupee because the government is ‘pumping’ more notes against the same weight of Gold it holds, that is 1 ton 50 Gms!  Government has no choice (because it did not receive 100% tax return  for the amount it released and it could not buy more gold)  and hence reduces the value of Rupee and pumps ₹ 750 more notes into the market. So the market has now ₹ 1800 whereas Govt still only hold 1 ton 50 grams!! 
So now the value of ₹ 1 has gone down to ₹ 1.71!!
So when compare to US Dollar  as above, which was $1 to Rs.1, it is now $1 to ₹ 1.71 !!!
The notes are pumped into the market  regularly to meet the demand of the market  and the value of the Rupee is depreciated every time when Gold reserves are same.  That the reason why the Rupee is 67.80 to a Dollar today!!
Had the Indian Government receives 100% tax in return, the value of Rupee would have NOT gone down drastically!! 
Now, can you all understand why the Governments need taxes?! And how, we citizens are benefited?   If Rupee is strong and stable then the value of our properties/assets  will be strong too!
That is the reason why the America is the richest country as  95% of citizens ( at various brackets) are paying their taxes!!     Whereas in India?? Can anybody guess?! No marks for right guessing!  Just type in google “percentage of taxpayers in India” and you would know!! I am sure your head will go down with shame!!  
Come on…did you all check that figure in google?!?!   Don’t we feel shame on this figure!!? We talk of so many things, demands benefits and badly compare us with those Western Countries for all that infrastructure,  system, cleanliness, ever lighting cities with no power cuts etc..etc!!  We praise them! We appreciate them!    Whereas nobody, I repeat nobody, compare and raise voices on how much  are we contributing to our own country as part of tax!!!
